Recently, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center for Fujian University Students (Quanzhou) operated by Quanzhou Normal University was selected as one of the third batch of provincial incubation funding centers and received a fund of 300,000 yuan to support its students and graduates to launch their entrepreneurial dreams. The Center provides a wealth of resources and initiatives to support entrepreneurship development and to promote knowledge transfer and commercialization of the University’s innovations and technologies, including technology transfer, mentoring and training, networks and partnership, consultancy services as well as the business administration. Moreover, through the Mentor Scheme, the Center has been working closely with industry and community partners to develop a highly experiential and action-based entrepreneurship education program for start-ups and their founders to meet their requirements and challenges along with their entrepreneurial study and pursuit of their goals. Over the years, the Center has cultivated three provincial high-tech enterprises and one in the list of Fujian Strait Equity Exchange Center. In addition, the Center owns a vision and mission of knowledge transfer through the provision of high-quality executive education and interdisciplinary training programs. In August this year, the Center has been honored with acclaim from Quanzhou Municipal Government.
