On Mar. 21, a delegation led by President Chen Qinghe, Vice President Li Gongqin and Lin Xuezhen, Director of Office of Cross-strait Affairs from Taiwan Shih Hsin University visited QNU.
President Chen Qinghe expressed appreciation for the achievements of QNU as well as high expectations for the future cooperation between the two universities. He noted that the integration of the advantageous resources of both sides would contribute to the building of a more diverse communication platform for teachers and students, and the cultivation of more high-quality application-oriented talents.
The delegation visited the students of the Program for Broadcasting and TV, a joint-program of the two universities.
It is reported that QNU and Shih Hsin University established partnership in 2013, making favorable achievements in student exchange, doctoral programs for teachers, and joint work exhibitions. In September 2021, the two universities co-launched the Joint Talent Training Program of Fujian and Taiwan Universities, co-building the Program for Broadcasting and TV.
