QNU Delegation Visited Kenya for Exchange and Cooperation

From December 13 to 17, Vice President Huang Jiangkun led a delegation to Kenya, Africa to carry out exchanges and cooperation. During their stay in Africa, the visiting delegation participated in the 2023 Sino-Africa International Symposium on Textiles and Apparel & Sino-Africa Culture Exchange Forum. The delegation also conducted exchanges and cooperation with foreign universities and institutions such as the Moi University, the Confucius Institute at Moi University, Tom Mboya University, and University of Bayreuth (Germany). The heads of QNU’s Office of International Exchange and Cooperation and School of Textile and Apparel were in the delegation.

As one of the organizers of the 2023 Sino-Africa International Symposium on Textiles and Apparel & Sino-Africa Culture Exchange Forum, Huang Jiangkun delivered a speech on behalf of QNU at the opening ceremony, introducing the university's education and foreign exchange and cooperation.

This year coincides with the tenth anniversary of the Belt and Road initiative and the sixtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Kenya. Through this visit, the university has established friendly relations with Kenyan universities, established good relations with universities from countries along the route participating in the forum, expanded the exchange and cooperation of the Belt and Road countries, built an international platform for the university's discipline construction and foreign exchange and cooperation, and successfully completed the visit.
