QNU Party Secretary Ke Ruiqing Led a Delegation to Visit Hong Kong

From December 11 to 14, the Party Secretary of QNU, Ke Ruiqing, led a delegation to visit Hong Kong. They visited the Federation of Quanzhou Associations in Hong Kong and the Association of Hong Kong Quanzhou Charity Promotion, as well as the Luen Thai International Group, South Asia Group, and Zhongquan (Hong Kong) International Co., Ltd. The delegation met the university's Hong Kong directors, alumni, and emigrants from Quanzhou as well. They also went to the Education University of Hong Kong to see QNU’s exchange students in Hong Kong. Through these visits, the delegation introduced QNU’s achievements and development plans, and carried out discussion on exchange and cooperation, which expanded the important resources for the development of the university.

At Luen Thai International Group, the delegation visited the Honorary Chairman of the Board of Directors of QNU, Dr. Tan Siu Lin, accompanied by Li Hexie (Secretary General of Tan Siu Lin Foundation and Executive Vice President of HongKong Renshan Fortune Charity Association) and Chen Weibin (Executive Vice President of Luen Thai Group).

At South Asia Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd., the delegation visited Lin Shuzhe, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of QNU.

The delegation visited the Association of Hong Kong Quanzhou Charity Promotion and the Federation of Quanzhou Associations in Hong Kong. They had discussions and exchanges with Chen Rongzhu, Chairman of the Association of Hong Kong Quanzhou Charity Promotion and Vice Chairman of QNU's Board of Directors, Liu Zhengqing, Li Hexie, Zheng Yapeng, Executive Vice Chairmen, Vice Chairmen Chen Hualiang, Chen Weican, and others. Discussions and exchanges were also carried out with Ye Jianming, Permanent Honorary President of the Federation of Quanzhou Associations in Hong Kong and member of the National Committee of CPPCC, Xu Chunming, President of the Federation, Ye Huaxiong, Executive Vice President, and Huang Xiaohu, Secretary General.

At the Education University of Hong Kong, Ke Ruiqing and his delegation visited the Mong Man Wai Library and Hong Kong Museum of Education, and held strategic cooperation discussions with the President of the Education University of Hong Kong, Li Zijian, and others.

At Zhongquan (Hong Kong) International Limited, Ke Ruiqing stated that Zhongquan is a state-owned enterprise with an educational mindset and hoped that both sides would work together to strengthen the construction of maritime-related disciplines and professional programs, and cultivate more outstanding maritime talents.
