QNU Students Received the 2022-2023 “Stars of Self-Improvement of Chinese College Students” Honorary Titles

Recently, the 2022-2023 “Stars of Self-Improvement of Chinese College Students” scholarship selection has successfully concluded. It was jointly held by China Youth Daily, New Oriental Education & Technology Group, and China Foundation for Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment, under the guidance of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the All-China Students’ Federation. Both Li Kunpeng, a graduate student majoring in Fine Arts (Calligraphy) from Class 2024, and Jiang Xiaofen, an undergraduate student majoring in International Education of Chinese from Class 2024 at the School of Literature and Communication , have been awarded the honorary titles.

It is reported that this year's scholarship selection is divided into five categories: patriotism and moral cultivation, diligence and truth-seeking, innovation and entrepreneurship, community practice, and endeavor and action. After universities’ recommendation, provincial-level preliminary evaluation, and national selection, 1,850 students were selected for “the Stars of Self-Improvement of Chinese College Students” scholarship. The event, with the theme of Striving Ahead with Courage and Perseverance, aims to set among contemporary college students examples of patriotism, virtues, fearlessness of difficulties and self-improvement.
